Jared is an American expatriate currently living and studying in Yunnan, China. When he is not occupied with his studies he is seeking out opportunities to travel and see the beautiful places across China. As an avid trekker and outdoor enthusiast southeastern China has provided ample opportunities to experience some of the most beautiful places and interesting minority peoples in all of Asia.

Ben is originally from the United States but is living in China studying language and culture. His wife and son travel with him throughout the country and region frequently. Because of his wifes academic study of anthropology, they have a particular interest in the minority peoples of Southern China, their culture and beliefs. This passion has taken them to many parts of Yunnan Province both rural and very developed.
