Charity Travel

Many ethnic villages and schools in Yunnan Province are poor economically.  Their hospitality and happiness persuaded Yunnan Adventure Travel to create "Charlie's Hope Project" to help these poor schools, students, farmers and villages. In return we share a piece of our love with the poor.  Charlie, the manager of Yunnan Adventure Travel, is from the countryside. As a boy in Fengqing County in Lincang City he saw the difficulties and disappointment of so many students from  poor families who did not have the opportunity to learn in the school. Sadly, many have to give up their education when they are young. Students from remote mountainous areas in Yunnan province generally cannot afford high tuition fees to attend university. We hope our tours to these wonderful ethnic communities offer both unique cultural experiences and economic opportunities for the people who live there.
