LocLocated in the south of Yunnan Province, Jinghong is the political, economic and cultural center of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, which is a supernatural oasis in southwest China, while Jinghong is just a bright pearl in the oasis. There is a total of 13 nationalities live together such as Dai, Hani, Jinuo, Bulang, Hui and Yao. Xishuangbanna harbors much of the biodiversity of Yunnan Province, which harbors much of the biodiversity of China. Its tropical climate and its remoteness until recent times accounts for this. In addition to an abundance of plants, Xishuangbanna is home to the last few Asian elephants still in China. Lancang-Mekong River flows through Jinghong City, it is one of the most popular destinations of Yunnan.
