For business visas, applicants will no longer need to present detailed flight and hotel itineraries as part of their application. You will also no longer need to submit a China Invitation Letter for China visa or Chinese Invitation Letter to China visa from an authorized Chinese government agency (such as the Foreign Affairs Office of a local city or province). An invitation from a Chinese company or from the Chinese office of an international company is still required.
The business invitation letter should be issued by the Chinese educational institution, government agency, or Chinese company. If the invitation is from or on behalf of an international company with affiliates in China, it should be issued by the Chinese office of that company.
Documents for applying for invitations for "Z" visas for the employee and his family members
1 Application Form to be filled in and stamped with the seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
2 Copies of business license of the foreign-funded company or the registration certificate of the Beijing office (The foreign-funded company should also provide the copy of its approval.). These copies should be stamped with seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
3 Copy of the passport of the applicant which should be stamped with the seal of Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
4 Copy of the employment license or working card of the applicant, which should stamped with the seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
Documents for applying for invitations for "Z" visas for the family members of the applicant
1 Application Form to be filled in and stamped with the seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
2 Copies of the business license or the registration certificate of the foreign-funded company or the Beijing office (The foreign-funded company should also provide copy of its approval.). These copies should be stamped with the seals of the foreign-funded company or the Beijing office.
3 Copies of the passports of the family members, which should be stamped with the seals of the foreign-funded company or the Beijing office
4 Copy of the passport of the employee, which should be stamped with the seals of the foreign-funded company or the Beijing office
5 Copies of the employment permit or the working card of the employee, which should be stamped with the seals of the foreign-funded company or the Beijing office

4 Copies of visa pages of the passport of the applicant and pages with the seal of the border guard on (The applicant should at least traveled to China with one-time "F" visa for 6 to 8 times. And these pages should be stamped with seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company.
5 An explanation letter specifying the reasons why the applicant wants this type of visa and the letter should be stamped with seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company

2 Copy of the business license or the registration certificate of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company with their stamps on
3 Copy of the passport of the applicant which should be stamped with seal of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company
4 Copy of the visa pages and the pages with the stamp of the border guard on (The applicant should at least have traveled to China with single entry and exit "F" visa for 6 to 8 times or with "F" visa of multi entry and exit for at least 2 to 3 times.). These visa pages should be stamped with the seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company.
5 An explanation letter specifying the reasons why the applicant wants the invitation letter for one-year multi entry and exit visas and the letter should be stamped with the seals of the Beijing office or the foreign-funded company.
