
The Grottos at Fahua Temple is located on the cliff of Luoyang Mountain of the peach blossom village in Anning County. It was cut during the Dali country time and there are altogether 25 caves.
The biggest statue is the lying Buddha lying horizontally on the south cliff with the length of 4.25 meters. There are the eighteen arhat statues on the east of the cliff, arranged in three rows from top to bottom. The construction is simple and was one of the minorities few rock cave art of ancient time left in the southwest part.
