The Naigu Stone Forest is 13 kilometres to the north of Shilin, which is also called the Mozhai Stone Forest. Naigu means black in Yi s language, thus the Naigu Stone Forest means a black stone forest. It covers an area of over 5,000 mu with a newly tapped 6-kilometre-long travel route. Compared with Shilins stone forests, this place owns different features and styles.

Dadieshui Waterfall (Dadieshui Pubu), is one of the largest and most famous waterfalls in China. The water rushes down over a 30 meter wide section of cliff at 150 cubic meters per second down 88 meters to the rocks. When the water hits the rocks below, the water splashes into the sinking mist. An hour or two at the waterfall should be enough to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The Sani minority people are one group of the branches of the Yi. The Sani Minority Villages around the Stone Forest cluster many small Yi ethnic villages. These ancient ideologically isolated villages are famous for their mystical ancient traditions and beliefs. Their folk customs, together with the colorful embroidery and minority dances and the natural sceneries have become one spectacular scene in Kunming.

Zheng He Park is located in the small town of Jinning in Yunnan and 60 kilometers south of Kunming. The park, built in 1980, covers an area of 250 hectares. It is a memorial garden built in commemoration of Zheng He, the great navigator of the Ming Dynasty.

With a dense forest and a quiet environment, Anning Hot Spring is composed of several natural underground hot springs. The temperature of Anning Hot Spring is 40℃～50℃ all year. The hot spring is clear and has several kinds of minerals and microelements not only beneficial to common people, but also is helpful in curing many kinds of diseases.

Lake (阳宗海) is located in Yiliang County, Kunming Prefecture, 45 kilometers east of Kunming City in Yunnan Province, China. About 30,000 people rely on the Lake as their drinking water. Yangzonghai Lake is noted for its underwater springs and is one of several scenic areas in Yunnan province, which is known for its biodiversity.

In the ancient city of Kunming stand two ancient pagodas, one in the east and the other in the west. West Pagoda used to be located in the now nonexistent Huiguang Temple. The temple used to be called West Temple, so the pagoda was named West Temple Pagoda. Now only the pagoda remains.

Huating Buddhist Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple that was originally a retreat for the local ruler, and is one of the major tourist attractions in the Western Hills area. Sitting at the foot of Mount Huating, it is one of the best-preserved Buddhist temples in Kunming.
