Nujiang Miscellaneous

The 2010 Nujiang "Kuoshi" Cultural Tourism Festival and 1st China Wildwater Canoeing International Competition will be held from December 18 to 20 in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the first time to expect a wildwater international competition in Yunnan.

Wild water sports integrate competitions and entertainment together. They require high technologies and great investment. Conforming to the requirements of returning to nature and advocating freedom in the 21st century, they have been becoming new growth points for consumption.

More than 60 professional athletes from 6 countries will participate in the competition. Various cultural activities are also expected to be held during the event.
