The Muslim Mosque in Tonghai County

The Muslim Mosque in Najiaying was first built in 1370 and has been expanded over the past 600 years. In 2001, collected money was used to build a new ritual hall with four floors, four towers and one dome. The hall occupies a total construction area of more than 10,000 square meters. The towers are 72.4 meters of height. The second floor can hold 3,000 people. The old hall was of traditional Chinese style and was moved 250 meters east of the new one. The old hall, which is delicate and graceful, has become a mosque for women and can hold 800 worshipers.

The two halls sit beside each other to fulfill their own functions.
