Yangbi Yi Autonomous County (漾濞彝族自治县) is a county in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture located in southern Yunnan Province, China.

Yangbi Yi Nationality Autonomous County located in the middle of Dali Bai Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, west of Diancang mountain. Its total area is 1957 square kilometers, 98.4% of the county are the peaks and ridges covered with green trees, the valley plain only accounts for 1.6%. The County government, which stations in West Cangshan town, is apart from the provincial capital Kunming 412 kilometers and apart from the state capital Dali 29 kilometers. 　　

Yangbi County was established in 1912. On November 1, 1985, The State Council of China authorized to build Yangbi Yi Nationality Autonomous County, which governs 3 towns, 6 townships, 65 village offices, 2 subdistrict offices. There are 17 nationalities here, such as Yi, Han, Hui, Miao and Lisu. The total population is 101,775. These nationalities are industrious，simple and closely united.

Yangbi Walnut
Tan Cui, the hometown of him lies in Anhui of Qing dynasty, said that “the walnut is the best in Yangbi and the thin shell will be broken when nipped” in Dianhai Yuhengzhi. Yangbi County lies at west part of Dali district, total covering area is 1,882 square kilometers, population amount is 100,000, hilly area occupied 98 percent, and it is “walnut hometown of China”.
