Geographical location:

Pingbian county is Located in southern Yunnan province, Honghe Prefecture Southeast, North-Southlength of 63 km, 55 km wide, 1906 km the total land area of the County. Wenshan Prefecture of Wenshan, maguan County, across the River in the East,bordering with State-level open ports hekou County in the South, North and adjacent to provincial-level economic development zone in mengzi County,Southwest gejiu city, and connected. Territory is lying North-South, from North to South.

Introduction:

Pingbian Miao Autonomous County (simplified Chinese: 屏边苗族自治县; traditional Chinese: 屏邊苗族自治縣; pinyin: Píngbiān Miáozú Zìzhìxiàn) is a county in the southeast of Yunnan province, People's Republic of China. Its seat is located only 21 kilometres (13 mi) from the border with Lào Cai Province, Vietnam.
