Dage Festival of Laoheipeng Village in Weishan County,Dali

Small fair in an Yi village in remote western Weishan county, right on the border to Changning.
Laoheipeng 老黑棚 is a cluster of village in a valley west of Niujie in Weishan county with a small Taoist shrine. On the same day a temple fair is held at 财神庙 somewhere a few kilometers away. These events are locally referred to as Singing Festival 打歌会.
Laoheipeng is best accessed with a hired car from Niujie.
