The highway network is okay, with national road 213 and 214 converging in Jinghong City. The highway network covers most of villages and towns in Xishuangbanna, and there are 3 highways connecting Xishuangnanna with Burma and Thailand.
There are 3 long-distance bus stations in Jinghong City: Jinghong North Long-Distance Bus Station, Jinghong South Long-Distance Bus Station and Jinghong Long-Distance Bus Station. Jinghong North Long-Distance Bus Station is the largest one, and international schedule buses to Laos are available in Jinghong South Long-Distance Bus Station. The scenic spots are not concentrated. There are buses departing to every county, town and most scenic spots in Xishuangbanna. Passengers should read the sign on the bus and the bus route carefully, in case of taking a wrong bus.
