An experienced stone collector, Xiao Jing, recommended that young stone collector could consider collecting prehnites as a start, which are of high quality and low price.

"Meanwhile, tsavorites,tanzanites, tourmalines could create more profits than other stones for stone players in the markets," Xiao Jing added.

　In Kunming, Xinwen Road, Wacang South Road, Guanghua Street, Jingxing Bird and Flower Market are all good places for stone players to process stones. Price for processing 18K gold ranges from 220 to 20 yuan per gram, and price for inlaying a diamond fluctuates from 18 to 28 yuan.
