In the Chinese culture, jade is a symbol of auspiciousness, elegance and nobility as well. Jade culture has been carried on for thousands of years in China and enjoyed a wide fame in the world.
In 2004, Yellow Jade (chrismatite) mines were discovered in Longling County in Baoshan Municipality, western Yunnan Province. Through years of development, jade industry has become the major industry of Longling County.
