Geographical Location
Xishan District is located in the west of Kunming City.It stretches 36.8 kilometers from east to west,72 kilometers from south to north, shaped like a glossy ganoderma.The total area of Xishan District is 1058 square kilometers,in which mountainous area accounts for 92%. Xishan District is located in the northwest edge of Dianchi basin,and the northwest is higher than northeast.
Introduction
Xishan District is one of the five District of Kunming City.It is the southwestern part of Kunming City,which get its name from Western Mountain.It is close to Dianchi Lake,bordering Wuhua District and Fumin County in the north.It borders Annijng City and Lufeng County in the west,Jingning County in the south.The total area of Xishan District is 881.32 square kilometers.It is the largest area of five main district.

Xishan District administers 10 streets:Ma Street(马街街道),Jinbi Street(金碧街道),Yongchang Street(永昌街道),Qianwei Street(前卫街道),,Fuhua Street(福海街道）,Zonghsuying Street(棕树营街道），Xiyuan Street（西苑街道),Biji Street(碧鸡街道),Haikou Street(海口街道),Tuanjie Street(团结街道).
