Diqing Climate

Because of the plateau climate, the weather of Shangri-La is always varied and unsettled. Even in August, you can find a snow flake dropping from the sky. So no matter when to go, you should be prepared with some warm clothes.
Dali Climate

Famous as the ‘Oriental Switzerland’, Dali has around 126 days in the year with temperatures around 18-21 C (54-66 F) which is the most appropriate temperature for taking a break. In addition, it enjoys abundant sunshine which is most welcome during the winter months thanks to its high altitude.
Lijiang Climate

With an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level, Lijiang enjoys a highland climate with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The average annual temperature is 12.6ºC without drastic changes.
Honghe Climate

Enjoying a subtropical plateau monsoon climate, Honghe has an annual average temperature of 15¡æ-22¡æ (59¨H-71.6¨H). With no summer heat or winter chilliness, the prefecture is abundant in sunlight and rainfall.
Kunming Climate

The annual temperature averages around 15 C (59 F). But there is usually a big difference of temperature between day and night from November to the next February.
Xishuangbanna Climate

There are only two seasons here, hot and dry(dry season is from Oct. to the next Feb.) , and hot and humid(rainy season is from March to Septemb.The rainfall focus from July to Aug.The scaned rain usually is not for whole day, only 2 or 3 hours in a day.
Nujiang Climate

Enjoying a plateau monsoon climate at low altitude, Nujiang is characterized by clear dry and wet seasons, great temperature difference between day and night and small temperature difference during the whole year.
Dehong Climate

Dehong enjoys a subtropical monsoonal climate without winter chills nor intense summer heat. It has clear dry and humid seasons, with good rainfall. Its annual average temperature is around 18-20¡æ (64.4-68¨H).
Lincang Climate

Located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, Lincang City is so called because it sits along the Lancang-Mekong River. It neighbors Puer in the east, Dali in the north and Baoshan in the west. Burma lies to the southwest of the city.
Puer Climate

Enjoying a plateau monsoon climate at low latitude, Puer is affected by the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Therefore, the main features of its weather are mildness and humidity without strong winds.
