  • Dance Singing and Circle dancing

    The Blangs are good dancers and singers. In important festivals, they sing and dance to the music of various instruments. On these occasions, martial art and acrobatics are also included in the celebration to create a joyful atmosphere.

  • Stair Burial- a Burial with no Tombs

    Every Blang village has a public cemetery called "Shan (hill)." The Blang people regard "Shan" as a place where spirits of the ancestors reside and all those who die a normal death are to be buried there

    Zang people are good at singing and dancing. People who can talk can sing, and where there is crowd, there is dance. Tibetan dance and song are twins, impossible to be separated from each other. If they sing, they are sure to dance, and they dance while singing. There are a great variety of Tibetan dances, and we only take some common dances as examples.

  • Symbol of the Wa village---wooden drum

    Wooden drum, called "Keluoke" in Wa language, is a traditional sacrifice offering tool, musical instrument and alarm reporting tool. Trunk of Schima wallichii,peach tree or Mali tree is raw materials for the drum which is hollowed out according to specified shapes.

  • Andai, Handleless Cup and Chopsticks Dances

    The Mongol dances have long enjoyed a great reputation. The famous traditional dances include Andai Dance, Handleless Cup Dance, Chopsticks Dance and so on. The contemporarily produced dances include Eagle,Yataghan Dance, Saddle Horse Dance, Gallop, Milking men's Dance, Ordos Wedding, The Herdsman's Happiness and so on.
